With the goal of harmonising the interior design of the restaurant with the innovative spirit of the owners, the space was designed to express the key elements of their vision: quality, vivacity, innovation, conviviality, sharing and a home-like feeling. ‘I wanted to create a fresh, light setting, with a distinctive impact, and LAGO was the perfect design partner for creating spaces with an essential design but full of personality.’ Francesco Aimi, president & CEO.
The design challenge was to create an innovative restaurant in a small space. The perfect remedy for this limitation was an oak Community Table that winds along one of the walls and other tables suspended on glass: a solution that fills the room with warmth and lightness. The interior is characterised by customised wallpaper that combines tradition, architecture and product. The Air tables have a special pocket for tablets and, using the restaurant’s app, customers can learn about its philosophy, read interesting things about its dishes and interact with people at tables nearby.
The collaboration between Lago and Al Bacio includes several restaurants: in addition to Parma and Milan, the new prestigious locations of Paris, Brugnato 5 Terre and Franciacorta Outlet Village have been inaugurated.
