Carpet Rotor by Nodus

The Rotor wool rug, designed by Odoardo Fioravanti and Paolo Giacomazzi and produced in India, is the result of a reflection on the beauty imbued with functionality typical of technical objects. It interprets an aeronautical engine with the pistons arranged in a star shape around the axis of the propeller. Hand knotted 150 knots/inch², hair height 5 mm. The concept behind Nodus is the combination of all the different production techniques, taking the peculiarities of each, bringing them together with their own in-depth research on materials, and, last but not least, introducing, in one of the oldest traditions, contemporary design, involving important names in the panorama of international designers.
