Argento Vivo, designed by Roberto Pezzetta, combines minimalist aesthetics with soft lines and rounded corners. Here, material qualities are exploited to great advantage. Fronts (24 mm thick) in satined tempered glass (available in various colours) are mounted on a structural frame, available in either black anodized aluminium or aluminium painted black, using epoxy resins to prevent unnecessary ware-and-tare and corrosion. Fronts are fitted with ServoDrive opening mechanism, which can be turned on either via hand pressure or PushPull technology. In 2009, Argento Vivo won the prestigious Good Design Award, awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum of Architecture and Design.
