Lamp Mendori by Artemide
IN-EI, shadow in japanese, is a collection of hanging, table and floor lamps, originated by the combination of Artemide in the world of lighting and the innovative approach in materials and design by Issey Miyake and Reality Lab. The inimitable folds that determine the plastic forms and solidity of the lamps are manufactured with an original technology created by Issey Miyake. Their shadows, created using mathematical principles in two or three dimensions are crossed by luminous hues. Thanks to the recycled material they are made of, which has a higher luminosity than paper, these lamps perfectly keep their shape with no need of an internal structure: the folding process creates statuary volumes solid enough to be easily remodelled. When they are not used they can be stored folded. Pictured the table lamp Mendori with LED 10 W source, 3000°K.
