Sofa Vlinder design Hella Jongerius, 2019

Vlinder is a sofa with a classic shape that stands out for the particular processing of the coating provided in eight colours yarns of two different thicknesses with seven different levels of jacquard. The model, designed by designer Hella Jongerius, is inspired by butterflies and by the chromatic liveliness of butterflies, from which it takes its name: Vlinder, in fact, means "butterfly" in Dutch. The sofa, which went into production at the Salone del Mobile 2019, is available in numerous shades, from dark red and petroleum, to light green, passing through soft reds.
