Chair DU30 by Poltrona Frau

DU30 is the rendition of the iconic chair, first designed in 1953 by Gastone Rinaldi. Shell made from a single steel sheet, moulded into an ergonomic shape. Padding in injection moulded polyurethane foam. Tubular iron legs painted black and screwed under the shell. DU30 is upholstered in leather, hand stitched underneath the shell, maintaining the clean and simple aesthetic of this piece. Leather from either the Pelle Frau® Soul, Nest or Color System ranges. In 1954, DU30 won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro award, in its first edition. New product at the 2014 Salone del Mobile, Milan.
