Carpet Intrigue Japonaise by Nodus

Nodus has created the Intrigue Japonaise collection, designed by Paolo Cappello: a carpet and a series of cushions that combine research with the Nepalese tradition of embroidery, repeating motifs from 18th century Japanese theatre illustration. The rectangular rug is hand-knotted in wool (150 knots/inch), with a hair height of 10 mm. It is produced in Nepal. The production of Nodus carpets is, traditionally, located in the territories that extend from Turkey to China, with all the local variations, which help to make the carpet a fascinating product and a thousand different faces and uses. Each item is an original and unique piece.
