Carpet Day By Day 1

by Nodus
Day By Day, Large designed by Mischer and Traxler, is the result of the two Viennese designers’ passion for narrative design: the result is a sort of vegetable cell with stripes of colour representing the daily work of weavers who changed the colour of the wefts every day. In this way, the carpet acquires an interpretation that goes beyond the artefact, a visual temporal graphic of the work done by those who produced the carpet. The climax is then represented by a leather plaque that shows the name, age and sex of those who made it in Nepal, as well as the date of beginning and end of production: a sort of identity card of the carpet, but above all a piece of history that is handed down. Day By Day is available in two sizes and made of wool, 4/8 mm pile height.
