Carpet Complementare by Nodus
Complementare is a hand-knotted carpet on a frame (knots 100 knt/inch and hair height 8 mm) made of Nepal in the following materials: 25% wool base and 75% silk stripes (also in the 100% silk version, or 100% wool). Available in eight different versions (without possible variations to the standard colors). Nodus is an experimental laboratory and a cultural project: it recovers in a global dimension the oldest knowledge of the art of carpeting and reinterprets it in the vision of international designers and architects. The craftsmanship and tradition of the best manufacturers in the world meet with the most innovative ideas, forms and visions of the most audacious and avant-garde. The result is a collection of carpets, entirely hand-knotted, created in six countries around the world (Nepal, Pakistan, India, Turkmenistan, China, Turkey) selected for their materials, techniques, craftsmanship and production ethics. Each Nodus rug is a unique piece.
