Softer Than Steel is a bench, by the Japanese designer Nendo. Tubular legs, oval seat and ergonomic backrest, all in white painted metal. Softer Than Steel is defined by the lightness of the different components and by how the backrest is bent to resemble a thin sheet of paper. Available in three different sizes. Part of the Softer Than Steel series which also includes: chair, a set of occasional tables, a coat stand. Indoor model also available.
