Designed by Eileen Gray for the terrace of her house in Castellar, Roquebrune is a chair that combines comfort and formal rigor in perfect balance. The deep seat and thin backrest reflect a design vision attentive to ergonomics, yet always refined. Initially born for outdoor use, with a blue canvas cover, it was soon reinterpreted for indoor environments, maintaining the same proportions and introducing leather finishes. The chrome metal structure highlights the essentiality of the lines, while its visual lightness makes it ideal for small spaces or study corners. Roquebrune is much more than a chair: it is a fragment of modernist design history, sober and elegant, designed to transcend eras and styles.
