Collection Zip by Ceramica Bardelli
In the tile series Zip, the focus has shifted from the surface, deliberately left neutral, to the element that marks the repetition of the module on the ground, the joint. This element has been interpreted as a binder between the modules on the ground, as a "ZIP" that runs up and down along this long surface. The joint is no longer an element of separation between the tiles but rather of union, it is a real seam that decorates and seals the union between one module and another through the seam graphically obtained through the shaping of the edge of the tile and the clear colours of the joint itself.
