Alchimie T is the new lamp designed by Giulia Archimede for Catellani & Smith, composed of two brass and alabaster discs that slide in parallel on a base rail made of medea stone. The interaction between light and shadow reaches its peak in the moment in which the two disks overlap, as if to give rise to an eclipse. The movement creates an experience of use, a variation in both the shape of the lamp and the intensity of light to create different types of feels.
