Bookcase Dadà

Cassina Simon Collezione

by Cassina
Dadà is a rendition of the line of modular storage units designed in 1965 by Japanese architect Kazuhide Takahama. Maintaining the aesthetic details of the original project, the collection consists of rectangular storage units which can be combined in various configurations. They come in solid wood and their edges are slightly blunted to highlight the various elements and to protect the corners from damage. Some functional details were added to Dadà, like the fixing mechanism of the elements which enhances security, and the base for the supporting element, which lifts the object from the ground to preserve the surface. Dadà is available in oak or Canaletto walnut solid wood. The inside of the elements comes in various colours: sage green, amaranth red or night blue.
