Since its first appearance, the Up Series, designed in 1969, has been one of the most sensational expressions of design. Seven models of seats, in various sizes, whose visual impact has made them unique over time. The most famous of these is Up5 (the armchair) with the UP6 ottoman, representing a female figure tied to a ball-shaped ottoman, symbolising the shackles that keep women subjugated." Elastic fabric upholstery available in black (pictured), red, yellow, blue, dark green as well as a beige and orange striped version.
