Patricia Urquiola approached outdoor design using the weave, revisiting and personalising it by looking to tradition while giving it an unmistakeably contemporary appearance, without being excessively nostalgic. Vienna straw, with its decorative geometric shape, was the element that inspired her. The aluminium frame is varnished with white or bronze polyester powder; the design is weaved with a 40-mm-thick polyethylene strip (for the chaise longue, 20 mm thick), available in white or bronze. Fixed or loose cushions with fabric upholstery in a variety of patterns and colours complete the series. The collection (made up of sofas, armchairs and chairs of various sizes) is enriched by a series of tables and service elements with steel frames.
