Designed by Naoto Fukasawa, Siena is characterised by an essential look and a slender base and headboard, conveying a sense of extreme lightness thanks to base which jutts out along the whole perimeter of the bed. The backrest features a short surface at the top, where you can comfortably rest your arm while seated. Two painted, grey tubular metal supports hold up the frame. A version with rear casters making it easier to move is also available. The base frame contains metal mesh with pre-curved beech wood slats. The image shows the double bed with fabric upholstery, also available in a version with leather upholstery.
