Sofa E la nave va

"E la nave va" is Alias’ new sofa inspired by the structure of wooden hulls. Structured with a system of exposed staves and elastic ribs, fixed to two wooden rails suspended on elegant aluminium feet, which support the cushions. The curved plywood elements in ash and oak, positioned in an alternating pattern, define the structure and aesthetics of the project, creating a light volume with great personality. In this space there is an abundant and soft cushion that envelops the guests in a generous embrace. The textile belt that holds the structure together allows you to distribute the weight variations, so the sofa fits perfectly to the body ensuring elasticity and strength. The traditional armrests are replaced by the shape of the sofa that closes at the sides. "E la nave va" has been awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2021.
